School teachers at Torit Municipal Council have concluded their three days training on conflict management and peace clubs strategy development.
The matron of AIC primary school Joyce Ibwaha Tisiano told Emmanuel Radio that the training aims at educating primary and secondary school teachers on promoting peace and reconciliation.
Ibwaha says she has gained skills on conflict resolution and demonstrating ways on how to achieve peace with others.
She promises to educate her school children and communities on peace as well as encouraging learners to live in peace
Ibwaha calls on communities to live in peace and stay away from bad cultural practices such as hatred, revenge and tribalism.
Head teacher of Torit Day Secondary School Valerie Afara, applauds the organizers of the three days training for their efforts.
He says this training is a step towards achieving positive change in the community.
