Sts Peter and Paul’s Cathedral has introduced Otuho mass for the first time in the history of the parish starting at 8:00 AM every Sunday.
Parish Priest Leonsyio Omina told Radio Emmanuel that the initiative came as a result of concerns from the faithful who do not understand English and Arabic languages.
Majority of his parishioners who speak Otuho stress the need to introduce a mass in the native language, he explains.
Fr Omina says the newly introduced Otuho Mass will serve majority of Christians who live in areas around the Cathedral.
He believes that the faithful will be happy with the initiative.
The parish priest also reveals a plan of introducing mass in Arabic in the near future.
