The Commissioner of Revenue Authority in Tonj State has on Thursday briefed the public about the importance of non oil revenue collection.
Tito Sigin Ayii says the social service and house hold tax collection is a government’s policy.
He adds that taxes are collected to bring services back to the community.
Sigin appeals to the people of Tonj to love their state by contributing whatever is expected from them.
The official made the remarks in an interview with Don Bosco Radio after launching the second collection of house hold tax.
Each house hold is expected to pay three hundred and fifty South Sudanese Pounds.
