Maridi State government buys 9 cars from local revenue

The government of Maridi utilizes local revenue to buy executive vehicles and to boost development in the state, says Deputy Governor.
 
Radio Anisa quoted Samuel Bati explaining that the cars are to ensure easy mobility of some executives and other relevance authorities in the state government.
 
He says the legislative assembly got two cars, state secretariat got three and four were given to some advisors.
 
The deputy governor notes that the state government started road rehabilitation from Maridi capital up to the border with Gbudue and other roads from the state capital to the boarder of Yei and Amadi states will follow later.
 
He says in other development the government has improved on civilian’s military relationship to ensure that all roads to the state are accessible without any security threat
 
Bati confirms that the security situations of Maridi state has improved since the government directed all organized forces to crackdown criminal activities and nine suspected criminals were so far apprehended.
 
The deputy governor revels that the insecurity on the road connecting Maridi to Gbudue and Yei River States has negatively contributes to the high market price as they are remain the only routes for importing goods.
