Tonj State Legislative Assembly on Thursday appealed President Salva Kiir and Dr Riek Machar to accept peace and work for development.
Mario Malook Lual, State Assembly Speaker, points out that since the war broke out in 2013, people did not enjoy the independence of the country.
He prays for lasting peace to end the suffering of the people of South Sudan.
The speaker appeals to those who took arms against government to forgive and come back home and serve the people.
