UNMISS expresses willingness to help IDPS return to their homes

United Nations Mission in South Sudan or UNMISS has expressed willingness to help the IDPS to return home after insecurity occurred in Wau State in the past years that claimed lives of many and lost of property.
 
UNMISS, the government and other partners are working to reconcile communities.
 
UNMISS Civil Affairs Officer, Abdel Baki says they are ready to work with communities to achieve peaceful coexistent.
 
Baki appeals to the different ethnic groups residing in Wau to accept one another and live in peace.
 
All the suffering that South Sudanese have gone through, should end and accept each other, the officer stresses.
 
Baki reiterates that keeping the negative thoughts in minds affect the way people interact and do things.
 
He advises the people of Wau and South Sudan to forget all those effects of war and lead a new life.
 
The UNMISS Civil Affairs Officer emphasizes that the Mission will always support in reconciling communities and help internally displaced persons.
