Gbudue State Officials appeal to youth to stop revenge killings

Gbudue State officials are urging the community to stop revenge and give peace a chance to prevail in South Sudan.
 
While addressing a rally during the Independence Day in Yambio, the Minister of Education Michael Pia Philip stresses that South Sudanese cannot continue suffering and dying because of reprisal.
 
He says the warring parties are working tirelessly for peace in the country.
 
The Minister believes the current civil war will soon come to an end if citizens forget the past.
 
He further says when people focus on peace it will bring bright future to the entire citizens of South Sudan.
 
The Minister appeals to youth to embark on agriculture to overcome hunger and poverty instead of fighting .
 
SPLM State Secretary Awadi Kissanga says it is the responsibility of everyone to work hard for peace to allow South Sudanese in exile return home.
 
She also appeals to the media houses to keep on updating people on the current peace talk and stop hate speeches.
