600 women to benefit from village saving loan t in Gbudue State

About 600 women will benefit from Village Saving Loan entrepreneurship project in Gbudue State, says executive director of Change Agency Organization.
 
According to Anisa Radio, Change Agency Association is national organization currently empowering women through entrepreneurship, gender-based violence and vocational training in the state.
 
Denis Tambura of the Agency, says Six Village Saving Loan Associations have received training on women entrepreneurship and have been given some money in Yambio to start small business.
 
Some 80 women are to benefit from vocational training in Yambio and Nzara Counties, he adds.
 
Tambura says they will also distribute seeds to women’s cooperatives and will look for partners like World Food Program to buy food from females.
 
The ongoing insecurity in the country has affected women badly, gender violence is rising and they are trying to see how women can also own some big assets, he discloses.
 
The official says with peace they will be able to do a lot with community empowerment project.
