UN visit to South Sudan is to support peace, Deputy Chief

United Nations high level delegation visit to South Sudan is to support peace agreement in the country to reduce the suffering of people, says Deputy Secretary-General.
 
Amina Mohamed says the purpose of her visit is also to bring up the role of women on the peace process, Voice of Hope Radio reports.
 
The official stresses the need for the government and armed opposition to implement the agreement on cessations of hostilities for people go back to their homes.
 
Angelo Taban Biajo, Governor of Wau assures the Deputy-Secretary that the state is now peaceful due to cooperation among institutions.
 
He says relationship between UNMISS and the government will always remain very strong to maintain peaceful coexistence among people in Wau State.
 
The officials spoke on Wednesday during the visit of UN high level delegation to Wau.
