Catholic priest in the Catholic Diocese of Wau calls on faithful in Agok area to do good things to be remembered like saint.
Fr Paolino Unango was preaching to hundreds of Christians who gathered on Sunday to celebrating the feast of St Thomas the patron of their center.
Celebrating the Saints’ days in the church is to remind the people that the holy people gave up their lives to serve God and people, he notes.
He adds that doing good is by preaching the Gospel of God and doing good deeds to the people.
Being faithful in God needs everyone to make a good choice of life and taking a good decision shows that people can be trusted in the community, explains Fr Unango.
He says no one can become a doctor, priest or engineer without practicing his profession in order to succeed.
People should accept their mistakes and confess that they have done them to be closer to God, the priest stresses.
Fr Unango urges the faithful to be good exemplars in their communities by doing good things and serving the Lord in different ways.
