The Apostolic Administrator of Malakal Diocese urges South Sudanese community in who are participating in De-Samuel Fraternity in Uganda to pray for peace to prevail in South Sudan.

Monsignor Roko Taban Musa says South Sudanese need to have strong faith and believe in prayer for peace to return home.

He says the strength of the Catholic Church is the resurrection of Jesus Christ where Christians are to be committed and believe.

Catholic Bishop of Tambura-Yambio Barani Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala thanks South Sudanese communities in Uganda for taking part in De-Samuel activities.

He says they are in Uganda on behalf of South Sudan and Sudan Catholic Bishops’ Conference that resolved last year to visit their refugees in Uganda, Kenya, Ethiopia and Sudan.

Bishop Hiiboro advises the communities in Uganda to be known as South Sudanese not based on tribal lines.

They were speaking on Sunday during De-Samuel Fraternity monthly mass in Kampala, Uganda.
