A priest in the Catholic Diocese of Yei on Sunday urged that it is moral responsibility and duty to help the needy in the society.
Fr Sebastian Pololo Enoch asks people to evaluate their pass six months of 2018 to find out what bad things they have done.
He tells people to be happy to have reached to the month of July, but they should look back and see how much they have looted and gathered from what does not belong to them.
Fr Pololo notes that God gives people the grace to acquire material things for their wellbeing, but not simply accumulate them to make a difference with the poor or share with them.
He reflected on the words of St. Paul that equality could be if people are to share generally.
The priest points out that the number of the needy people is increasing and the rich people are sleeping day and night happily.
