The Episcopal Church of South Sudan Western Equatoria Internal Provincial Secretary says South Sudan is not destined for war and poverty but peace and freedom.
Reverend Peter Ringaza vows that the church will continue to build peace between the government and armed opposition.
He states that they are currently coordinating with partners to see how they can assist internally displaced persons with basic humanitarian aid in the state.
Pastor Ringaza cites that the number of IDPs in the state is huge and are scattered in the area.
He points out that they are still waiting for response from the armed youth in the bush in regard to the letter sent by the bishop of the Catholic Diocese of
Tambura-Yambio Bishop Barani Eduardo Hiiboro calling for dialogue.
The Provincial Secretary was speaking to Anisa Radio on Wednesday in Yambio.
