Torit Day Secondary school starts interclass competition

Students of Torit Day Senior Secondary School have started interclass football competitions. The competition started with a match between senior one ‘A” and ”B” with 1-0 victory in favor of senior one ”B”.
 
Officials say the interclass competition aims at bringing students together to promote peace in the school and the state at large, 
 
Silvesto Lokuda, Torit Day Sports Prefect, says the competition which started on June 18th will run up to 26th.
 
The school administration is implementing activities that are included in the curriculum, he adds.
 
Richard Pitia, deputy head teacher of Torit Day Secondary School, says sports, debates and others are included in South Sudan’s curriculum.
 
Pitia says all the elements included in the curriculum are meant to train learners for brighter future.
