Internally Displaced Persons or IDPs are on Wednesday celebrating World Refugee’s Day at Mangaten, an area near Juba town Juba town with Caritas South Sudan and Africa, says Caritas South Sudan Executive Director.
Gabriel Yai says President of Caritas Africa Archbishop of Kumasi, Ghana Gabriel Justice Yaw will pray with them as a sign of solidarity with South Sudan.
He hopes that there will be no more refugees from the country in coming years.
Yai acknowledges that the visit of the Head of Caritas Africa will raise more awareness of the situation of the people in the country.
Archbishop Gabriel Justice Yaw Anokye of Kumasi, Ghana is the newly elected President of Caritas Africa from 2015 to 2019; his election was ratified during the general assembly of Caritas Internationalis in Rome, from 12 to 18 May 2015.
He was elected as second vice president of caritas Internationalis in the general assembly
