Minister of Gender in Tonj asks religious leaders to pray for peace

The Minister of Gander and Social Welfare in Tonj appeals to religious leaders in the state to cooperate and pray for peace in South Sudan.
 
Luka Lual Madhang says if all religious leaders in the country are working for peace and unity, people will change from bad practices, Don Bosco Radio reports.
 
He advises Muslims to refrain from politics and go ahead by practicing their faith in the state.
 
Musa Omer Abdurrahman, head of Islamic groups, calls for a piece of land for building the school and health facilities and mosque.
 
The leader points out that President Salva Kiir gave all Muslims in South Sudan freedom and ordered return of their looted property.
 
He encourages all Muslim communities across the country to respect the constitution of South Sudan and work for peace and unity of the people.
 
The leaders made the remarks to Don Bosco Radio last week.
