The chairperson of Tonj East Youth Union calls for peaceful co-existence among all tribes of South Sudan.

According to Don Bosco Radio, Joseph Ajuong, says the ongoing political conflict encourages unknown gunmen to keep on killing and raiding cattle everywhere in the country.

He advises the young people to refrain from being influenced by politicians to fight for them based on tribal lines.

Ajuong appeals to youth to focus on activities that can improve their lives.

Women representative, Magdalena Adut Ateny, says peace brings development and that without calm children will not go to school.

Achol Nyanut Agany, head girl of Academic Primary Schoo, attributes the conflict to poverty and discrimination in the country.
