A man in Tonj State knifed another man who impregnated his sister some months ago and fail to marry her.
Gabriel Njur Domaya, police officer in Tonj confirms to Don Bosco Radio that Deng Majok Deng stabbed Joseph Manut Mathoor because he resumed relationship with his sister.
The police officer says Majok attacked Manut in his home early in the morning of Wednesday.
He adds that the victim was harmed on his head and he is undergoing treatment in Tonj Civil Hospital.
Officer Njur points out that Manut impregnated Majok’s sister some months ago and the case was resolved by paying one cow as penalty and the lady went back home with her relatives.
He adds that Deng Majok Deng still complaining that Joseph Manut Mathoor is still in love with his sister that is why he attacked him.
The officer advises all intellectuals, civilians and politicians to report their problems to police before they take the law into their hands.
The police officer states that the suspect is in police custody and the victim is in Tonj civil Hospital receiving medication.
