The mayor of Tonj town on Tuesday launches general cleaning of four blocks of the quarter council.
Joseph Anei Madoor says the cleaning started from Tonj Civil Hospital, Genanyuon Block Council and the two main markets.
He discloses that the main objective of the municipality is to deliver good sanitary services to citizens.
Anei appeals to communities to clean their respective places to maintain hygiene and sanitation.
He says the initiative is supported by UNOPS.
The mayor made the comments on Tuesday in Tonj.
