The Acting Medical Director of Rumbek State hospital, reports that there are suspected cases of measles in the area.
Dr Abel Allier kuluel notes that some days back there were suspected cases of measles at the hospital, Good News Radio reports.
He adds that World Health Organization or WHO and the State ministry of health took some samples for checkup to confirm the outbreak.
Dr Kuluel urges the public to report any suspected case to the health facility for proper diagnosis.
The health official made these remarks during an interview with Good News Radio on Wednesday in Rumbek.
