The Chief of Kilo seven Payam of Tonj State reveals that SPLA soldiers beat him badly.

John Kamis Mbaya accuses the forces looting ten Jerrycanes of honey and eight rifles, Don Bosco Radio reports.

He mentions that life in his Payam is difficult because the area is claimed by Tonj and Gok states.

The chief John adds that he came to Tonj in order to meet the governor about the place.

The chief stresses that the community is left without food since the troops raided everything.

He requests the state government to handle the issue peacefully so that it does not cause insecurity in the region.

Severino Philip Bazia, Tonj County Commissioner, says the two governors of Gok and Tonj will resolve the problem together.

He stresses that issues concerning land demarcation should not be discussed now.

Don Bosco Radio efforts to meet Gok authorities for comments were in vain on Monday.
