‘It is so painful to see girls performing badly just like first or second class pupils despite being taught the same with the boy’, says Sacred Heart Parish Priest in Tonj of the catholic Diocese of Rumbek.

Fr Paul Antimi says some days back many sections complained that they were not treated equally that is why girls were left behind in education.

Rector points out that teachers are doing a lot of work at schools.

Akuei Wukuei, one of the parents, appreciates the administration of Don Bosco School for the great roles it plays in educating their children in Tonj State.

He advises the students to abide by the school rules and regulations.

Akuei appeals to all students to avoid using their local languages when they are in school uniforms.

The speakers were addressing parents during the release of results for first term exams over the weekends at Don Bosco Secondary School in Tonj.
