The Bishop of the Episcopal Church of South Sudan Yei Diocese urges soldiers not to shoot guns on Wednesday marking SPLA Day.
Bishop Hilary Luate Adeba says people of Yei are traumatized because of the gunshots in the area, Easter Radio reports.
Last year there was no gunshot on SPLA Day, May 16, the Bishop acknowledges.
Fr Emmanuel Lodongo Sebit, Secretary-General of the Catholic Diocese of Yei recalls that in 2016 resulted to killing of Sister Veronika Rackova while on duty.
