Journalists in South Sudan work under fear due to threats due to lack of press freedom, says head of Union of Journalists in Yei.
 
Agele Benson Amos, believes the current social political and economic crisis in the country disturbs journalists working ground.
 
He calls on journalists to stick to their code of ethics to safeguard them from being victimized.
 
Benson says journalists in Yei have not experienced many of the violent interferences in their works.
 
The official spoke on Thursday when South Sudan joins the rest of the world in commemorating World Press Freedom Day.
 
Reporters without Borders this ranked South Sudan 144th country out of 180 counties in press freedom.
