Delay of salaries has made it difficult for schools to receive capitation grant for school developmental activities, says Torit State Minister of Education.
Hassan Urbano Alex reveals that school development activities could not be made possible due to no money.
Urbano says all schools in Torit State did not receive their capitation grant since November last year.
Minister Urbano is not sure if schools will get their capitation grant in time but says unless salaries come in time, schools can easily get the money.
The importance of capitation grant to schools is to support school daily maintenance such as buying essential needs for schools like chairs among others, he notes.
The Education minister advises school administrations to be patient amidst difficulties.
