At least 17 people have been injured when a car belonging to Manyangok Commissioner overturned on Saturday in Tonj State.
The accident occurred at Abieicok area, twelve kilometers away from Tonj town.
Joseph Litii Jabu, Director of Traffic Police, attributes the cause of the accident to over speeding where the driver lost control.
He adds that the driver is in prison.
The Director of Traffic Police blames authorities for employing unqualified drivers.
He notess that the victims are in Tonj Civil Hospital and they are responding well to medicines.
Litii advises the community to respect traffic rules and drive responsibly.
Ulam Kur Aluong, one of the victims blames the driver for over speeding.
He adds that it is only the driver who was not injured.
