The engineer for Torit B court construction says the work has exceeded the expected period due to poor supply of building materials.
The construction of the court was launched on January 23 2018 under Quick Impact Project and was designed for three months.
But Kenya Anthony says most of the materials are not there in Torit local markets, forcing the company to order from other states or country.
He cites restriction of material as a challenge hindering the completion of Torit B Court.
Anthony assures citizens that the construction will be finished late this month and will be handed officially on April 31 this year.
Meanwhile Mathew Oduma Ofoto, Paramount Chief of Torit B Court, urges constructors to speed up the work for effective proceedings.
Currently, court cases are being run under a tree which can easily be interrupted when rain comes, he clarifies.
The Paramount Chief calls on the state government to build courts at grassroots level.
The speakers made the statement to Radio Emmanuel in Torit on Thursday.
