Primary schools in Yei River County have started two-day athletic competition for peace on Friday under the theme: ‘Race for peace’.
Ezibon Latio Aquila, Educational officer for Yei River County , says sport is one of the subjects to be run in the curriculum.
Athletic is a talent that one cannot guess unless it is seen in the field, he adds.
Odiriha Mark, UNICEF health officer representative stresses that it is only sports that genuine friendship is build.
The officials were speaking on the opening section of the two-day athletic activity in Yei River County.
