Torit State youth leader is calling on the government to use the free man power of the youth in prison for agricultural production.
Emmanuel Radio quoted Otililing James while visiting the state prison on Friday saying the inmates complained of food shortage.
Prisoners should be allocated an agricultural land to expand food production in the state to address food shortage in the prison, he adds.
James says the inmates should be taught better ways of survival like farming so that they become productive citizens.
The youth leader says when prisoners are left idle, they get mentally tortured which is unhealthy.
