The Governor of Jubek State is calling on police to do their best to protect citizens and their property.
Augustino Jadallah Wani was addressing police officers on Thursday during their graduation ceremony.
He says police is mandated to keep law and order and protect everybody in South Sudan.
The Governor adds that police officers are to prevent crimes from happening and ensure safety to all.
The police officials graduated last week after they underwent training for three and half years in Juba.
