Minister appeals to opposition to put down guns to develop South Sudan

The national Minister of Agriculture and Food Security appeals to the armed opposition to put down guns to develop the country and improve productivity.
 
Onyoti Adigo Nyikwech says with peace South Sudanese can develop through agriculture as the backbone of the country.
 
He encourages farmers to be committed to their work to improve the standard of production in South Sudan.
 
The minister congratulates farmers of Gbudue for organizing 170 cooperative societies in the state and Nzara County.
 
He pledges that the Ministry of Agriculture will work to revise the old cotton plantation and other cash crops like sugar cane which can bring income to the nation.
 
Onyoti adds that the national government is working hard to re-activate the old industry in Nzara County for the benefit of citizens.
 
Governor of Gbudue State Daniel Badagbu Rimbasa calls for reopening of local to avoid buying soaps and oil from the neighbouring countries.
 
He mentions that his government is working tirelessly to bring some donors to re-activate the old industries in Nzara County.
