German government commits to continue supporting South Sudan

MISEREOR, a Catholic Church organization in Germany pledges that its government will continue to support the suffering people of South Sudan.
 
Barbra Achirmel, MISEREOR representative helping the Catholic Diocese of Torit for more than ten years, says her organization collects money from people of Germany to help the needy in South Sudan.
 
Love one another as a symbol of peace and unity, she encourages South Sudanese. Radio Emmanuel reports.
 
Managing Director of Caritas Torit, William Okot De Toby, praises MISEREOR for standing in solidarity with the poor in the country.
 
He says the Catholic Diocese of Torit had built hospitals, schools including churches due to the support of the German organization.
 
Okot advises South Sudanese to also love, support and care for each other.
 
The speakers made the remarks on Sunday during the mass at St Peter and Paul Cathedral in Torit.
