Butchers in Gbudue are complaining that insecurity on roads bordering the state is making it very hard for them to import goods from the neighboring states.
Atef Awad Shata Rungo, a butcher at Masia market, told Radio Anisa that previously prices of goats were better than now.
He says due to insecurity on some roads to Wau State, it is impossible for them to import goats to the Gbudue.
The butcher appeals to the national government to work hard to bring sustainable peace in the country so that citizens can resume cross border trade.

He adds that due to the country’s economical crisis; the price of meat in butchery is so high, making it hard for citizens to afford.
