Angelo Taban Biajo while launching football for peace on Easter festival, says there is need for peaceful co-existence and stability in the state, Voice of Hope Radio reports.
The purpose of the peace initiative is to unite people to forget the past and live as brothers and sisters, he explains.
It is not enough only to do peace rally, but raise up sports activities in the state because they unite people from different backgrounds, says the governor.
Taban promises that his government will continue to support sport activities for Wau to become a sport city and stable state in South Sudan.
Famous South Sudanese musician, Emmanuel Kembe, and other local performers were among the people of the state during the launch of football for peace initiative at Wau Youth Centre.
