Priest advices South Sudanese to follow Jesus’ obedience

A Catholic priest of the Catholic Diocese of Yei is advising South Sudanese to imitate the obedient example of Jesus.
 
Fr. Marcello Jungu in his Good Friday’s reflection, says Jesus Christ was obedient to his heavenly father by accepting death on cross to save mankind. Easter Radio reports
 
Fr. Jungu says Jesus came to the world to reveal and accomplish the mystery of truth about God to the World.
 
He observes that Jesus’ crucifixion was a great humiliation but he accepted it for the mission given to him by God to bear the witness to the truth.
 
Fr. Jungu says Christ’s acceptance to die on cross was a revelation of God’s true love for mankind.
 
Good Friday is a commemoration of the passion and death of Jesus Christ on the cross.
 
Many Christians spend Good Friday in fasting, prayer, repentance, and meditation on the agony and suffering of Christ.
