The National Non-Governmental Organizations have appealed for strong cooperation with the International NGOs operating in South Sudan for better result of their operations.
Speaking during an interview with Voice of Hope Radio in Wau, Michael Geba Ukello, the state Director for South Sudan Relief and Rehabilitation Commission says they are encouraging local NGOs to be proactive in their activities.
He says the RRC would like to see every local NGO operates and shows commitment to implement the projects that serve the interest of the community.
He explains that it is not the mandate of the RRC to lobby for funds for local NGO but they should do it themselves as part of their activities.
International organizations can only give an assistant to those who have established themselves, he notes
Director Geba advices the local organizations to work in a close cooperation with International organization so as to build their capacity.
