The Catholic Diocese of Tombura-Yambio has designed a humanitarian assistance for the victims of wildfire and those affected by conflict in Ezo County of Tombura State.
Fr John Ngbapia Bakiri, the Director for the Catholic Organization for Development and Peace confirms to Anisa Radio that the humanitarian response team is now on the ground in Ezo for the distribution.
The distributions targets 260 households to benefit from this distribution with the intention of empowering them with food and firming tools.
The beneficiary will be given Maize floor, Rice, Beans, Cooking oil, soap, and some sugar.
They will receive Hoes; seeds to assist them produce more food for their families this rainy season.
For the past years the Diocesan Humanitarian Response has been supporting IDPs who are taking refuge in Yambio, Riimenze, Yangiri and some parts of the Diocese
