The Acting Director in the Directorate for Nationality, Passport and Immigration in Juba says the shortages of fuel is hindering and slow their activities.
Speaking to Radio Bakhita on Thursday, Charles Wuza, says the directorate is forced to buy fuel from black market which is very costly.
He explains that the employees are lacking items like uniforms and food apart from fuel shortage.
Meanwhile, Inspector General of Police Majak Akech Malok during a courtesy visit to the directorate reveals that the president has ordered for provision of the basic items to the police.
He says his office has presented a report containing the challenges to the Ministry of Interior and the president’s office.
Officials complained of economic crisis that has led to many officials to issue nationalities to foreigners for money.
They also encouraged the officers to attain proper training for effective deliverance of services to the citizens.
