Respect the rules and regulations of road usage according to the Traffic Police Act; Director of Traffic Police in Gbudue State advises the public.
Captain Kazimilo Paulino says the role of the traffic police is to direct the public to follow road safety while using the road in order to reduce accidents in the state.
He noted that since 2017-2018 the rate of accidents reduced because they are working hard to make sure that the road is safe for all.
Paulino says before using any new means of transportation one must get all authorized documents that will permit the owner to operate without any problem.
The documents are to be renewed after every year in order to help the government to raise revenue, he explains.
The officer advises the public not to give money to officers by the roadside unless they are issued with legal receipt.
He confirms that 12 passengers were injured over the weekend when a vehicle overturned on Yambio-Nabiapai road.
The officer was speaking to Anisa Radio on Monday in Yambio.
