The food commodities in Tonj markets continue increasing every day, according to buyers.
Makuei Biormac says the prices of the food and non-food items are very high that citizens cannot afford.
He adds that the Vivacell Company also has increased its airtime rates making it difficult to communicate with relatives.
Tonj Mayor Joseph Anei Madoor stresses that the municipal council will send out the teams soon to handle prices in markets.
The control of local food commodities is to ensure that the people of Tonj survive, he adds.
