Parish Priest Noel Oguagu applauds the teams for making the day colourful.

He consoles Our Lady of Holy Rosary’s Football Club for losing the game and encourages both teams to work harder for tougher matches.

‘We thank the Fathers, all those who join us and the two teams who have entertained us. It was a wonderful encounter. I have been telling the football club that you can lose all your friendly matches and win the real matches. Because when you start winning, the friendly matches, your going to sleep. So always shows that you have room to make up. There are so many things that you need to do’.

Fr Oguagu awarded the sum of three thousands South Sudanese Pounds to the combined choir of Otuho, English and Arabic for winning the trophy.

He calls on all women in his Parish to respect their husbands.

‘We thank the combined team of the Holy Rosary and I thank ‘abuna’ { Fr Anthony} who also played for you. So, each of the choir should go with one thousand SSP at least, so that they go with something and show to their colleagues’.

Hundreds of spectators turned up at Our Lady of Holy Rosary’s Football ground to witness the match to conclude the Parish Fathers’ Day on Sunday in Torit.
