The Mayor of Tonj Municipality warns traders against selling expired products in markets.
 
Joseph Anei Mador notifies that violators would be punished when they are caught red handed, Don Bosco Radio reports.
 
The Mayor says the public health is the responsibility of municipal council to see that communities enjoy dividends of peace and better services.
 
He discloses that they formed a committee comprising of municipal council and Ministry of Finance members to check expired goods in all markets of Tonj town.
 
He urges the communities to remain calm since the government is handling it.
 
Kur Angui, one of the nutritionists in Tonj Civil Hospital, says taking of expired drugs leads to general body weakness and sometimes causes death.
