South Sudan’s women have submitted recommendation to the Special Representative of UN Secretary General, concerning conflict, protection, livelihood and issues of women participation.
Deputy Special Representative for UNMISS; Mustapha Soumare in a three day workshop says, gender equality is the priority and that they are committed to it.
He says he is amazed by the women who have demonstrated that they are resilient and can be agents for change.

The workshop brought together women from all over the country from different sectors, to discuss issues of gender among others.
