The newly appointed Minister of Finance and Economic planning has vowed to address the delay of salaries for civil servants in South Sudan.
Salvatore Garang Mabiordit replaced former Minister, Stephen Dhieu Dau, following a cabinet reshuffle by President Salva Kiir Myardit.
He says he will also engage in tackling the shortage of hard currency in the country.
The Minister also says mobilizing revenue for the government to fund its activities, is his top priority.
Civil servants have always been raising concerns about their salaries, but their demands have not been made.
