Tambura-Yambio Diocese begins its annual pastoral assembly

The Catholic Diocese of Tambura Yambio on Wednesday began its annual pastoral assembly.
 
All the 22 parishes and over 150 participants including priests are attending the Assembly in Nzara County in Gbudue State.
 
Bishop Barani Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala reveals that it is the responsibility of Christians to change the life of unfaithful ones so that they can be able to reach the Kingdom of God.
 
He notes that those who believe in God and put prayer as first priority will be the ambassadors of peace, love in the heaven.
 
Jesus came to save and make people to have full life and be free to spread his good news in the world, explains the Bishop.
 
He emphasizes that Christians should not lose hope in life though there are challenges.
 
Bishop Hiiboro appeals to Christians to engage themselves in agriculture to overcome hunger in South Sudan.
 
The Bishop thanks Christians for being committed to their work and the Pastoral Coordinator Fr Diko Raphael for the great work he is doing in the Diocese.
 
He asks Christians to take notes of prayer, synod and have full life,
 
After the assembly the priests will have seven-day retreat to gain strength for God’s work this year.
