The Commissioner of Tonj County on Tuesday has confirmed that raiders attacked and raided cattle in Warcok grazing land in western part of the state last Saturday.
Safferino Philip Bazia says few cows were looted and the government is trying hard to recover them, Don Bosco Radio reports.
Bazia says during the exchange of fire there were no casualties.
He discourages the act and urges the community to remain patient and leave the government to handle the issue.
The commissioner made the remarks on Tuesday to Don Bosco Radio.
