Imotong State Assembly on Monday formed a committee to investigate the suspension of third year midwifery students for one month in Torit Health Institute.
Achiro Angela observes some issues in the institute after the whole class was suspended for one month, Emmanuel Radio reports.
She says the students complained to the institute and the ministry that they have not been taught for the last two months so the administration decided to suspend the whole class.
Angela further notes that the students have the right to raise their grievances.
She urges the committee to be committed and bring the findings forward as soon as possible.
Charles Udwar Ukello, Speaker of Imotong State assembly says the committee has been given one week to present its findings.
On Tuesday, State Minister of Health Paska Hifita Oduho met with the administration of Torit Health Institute to resolve the issue of the suspended students.
But Radio Emmanuel was denied access for coverage.
