Yei River state directorate of National Security has on Tuesday released four detainees arrested for links with rebel activities.
Major James Alor, director of National Security in Yei says the released detainees were caught selling ammunitions to the opposition fighters, Easter Radio reports.
The government decided to release them as a gesture for peace and stability in Yei River State, he adds.
Yei River Governor Emmanuel Adil Anthony says the release is in consistent call for peace by the state.
The release was done at Yei River State secretariat on Tuesday.
