Unidentified armed men robbed Catholic vehicle in Juba

A Catholic priest of Juba Archdiocese was attacked and the car was robbed by armed people in Juba on Sunday.
 
The incident happened at 8:30 PM when the priest of St Thomas’ Parish in Mangalla came from Rajef to St Kizito Church in Munuki compound.
 
Speaking to Radio Bakhita  Fr Samuel Abe Joseph, Catholic Archdiocesan Secretary General says one of the robbers was holding a gun.
 
He says the case has been reported to authorities immediately after the incident, but there is no update on the whereabouts of the car.
 
Fr Abe regrets that the incident will affect the pastoral work in Mangalla.
 
Police spokesperson Brigadier Daniel Justin Boulo confirms the information and says the patrolling team has been informed to trace out the car and the robbers.
