Longar Malual Ayuel says they started the competition early to give them space for the state local football trophy, Don Bosco Radio reports.
The Secretary-General explains that the tournament has been divided into groups, where Gazalla United beat Himango team 4-0 in their first legs.
The coach for Himango, Daniel Deng Akot, says they lost the game due to lack of practice.
Longar encourages his players to go for practice daily to make them fit.
Players need not to quarrel in the field or with administration to make tournament attractive, Mario Duky stresses.
The game is a knockout system and needs every team to be careful during the match, he adds.
